Problem
Heavy built modular media lasted a long time but lacked some accuracy of separation, which caused near size material to return to the crusher for further reduction.
Data
Polydeck’s new Metaldex product was able to capture and pass most of the returning near size material on a critical screen deck. This was done while wear resistant panels remained on the heaviest wear areas of the screen deck.
Results
This change increased production of the desired size by 35%.
