Tom is the Technical Sales Engineer for wet processing, including sand processing, fines recovery and water treatment for both solid/liquid separation and fines dewatering. He has been with Paschal Associates since 2007 and serves customers throughout the contiguous United States. Prior to his joining the Paschal Team, Tom worked for a few large polymer sales companies and through them received significant, proprietary training and certifications. In addition, he spent a brief period of time in production management for privately owned aggregate company.
As one of very few industry professionals who have been focused on both the treatment and equipment side of the fines recovery and water treatment for 25 years, Tom’s expertise is customized equipment and water treatment specialty chemical packages; more specifically, designing a means to reduce plant operating costs by defining the entire fines recovery and water treatment process. This includes modeling based on Paschal’s extensive library of field experience and data and determining capital equipment and operating costs, a process that is inclusive with the latest practical and proven equipment and processes.
“I enjoy the diversity of our customers’ facilities and needs, as well as the challenge of staying current with the latest practical technology in our industry. Being able to apply that technology to achieve production and efficiency goals is very rewarding. I think the future holds questions about the economics of handling waste fines, liabilities surrounding traditional means of property slurry/water systems, and how we will work within agency restrictions to utilize new methods and processes.”
